I don't know if this is possible and I know this isn't exactly "bloatware" but is there a way to disable being able to use a controller? I use other games at some points the same time when Nox is open and for some reason, Nox seems to take priority and so I am unable to use a controller for other games.

Thank you in advance! It could be the fact that Nox is based on a VirtualBox framework, which it's behaviour I believe is that it disconnects certain devices like USB flash drives or controllers from your computer and connects it to the virtual machine whenever you tell it to.

Nox might be automatically doing that whenever you connect a game controller. There might be a possible solution for this but atleast for now, close Nox whenever you're playing any other game. Just noticed that Nox's app shortcuts don't seem to work with their launcher removed. Likely need to create a special intent listener to recreate functionality without the launcher..

Hi, I used this guide a couple months ago, and I noticed that you added some domains to block during the last revision. Should I add them too? For you MacOS users.. Can someone confirm if these changes , the debloating has increased the performance of nox compared to regular version?

For me as soon as i delete the launcher apk and install another launcher the cpu sky rockets. I personally reverted it back to default after a few days, with the HOSTS file edited it prevents nox from being able to download new Instances of the emulator via multi instance manager and with the Config file set on Read only you cant make any changes to existing instances without first unchecking Read only on config file.

Just seemed like to much of a headache and I saw literally zero improvement in performance but games were running fine before. Perhaps this would be more beneficial on slower hardware or if Nox calling home is a little weird to you Understandable. When I removed the quotes and locked the file before running Nox, I was surprised at how smooth it ran!

Maybe the gps. Any ideas? Thanks aranapatona, I found another solution. I tried Bluestacks and there my navigation app and external GPS work together with no problem. As it looks pretty much similar to Nox I then switched to Bluestacks.

Should I switch to BlueStack? Which one is safer? Of course it would be great if someone made a similar debloating scheme also for Bluestacks.

If it's necessary? So, I installed nox, learned of it's shenanigans, and am attempting to uninstall all the stuff related to it. I've gone through the registry, used control f to search for anything still on my pc, deleted the installer, the app, and uninstalled it through windows. I never booted it up and actually used it however. Is there anything else I need to go through and delete? I know this may be a weird place to ask this, I just don't know where else to ask.
